Britain all-rounder Moeen Ali came into the focus on Sunday after specific sites/areas of media revealed that he has mentioned his establishment Chennai Super Kings' administration to eliminate a liquor brand's logo from his shirt.
Among different brands, the Chennai Super Kings conveys the logo of SNJ 10000, a lager brand of Chennai-based SNJ Distilleries. The unfit reports said that Moeen had mentioned CSK to eliminate the logo from his pullover to which the establishment concurred.
Nonetheless, Chennai Super Kings affirmed to IANS that there has been no such solicitation from Moeen.
Addressing IANS on Sunday, Kasi Vishwanathan, the Chief Executive Officer of Chennai Super Kings, said, "There has been no solicitation made by Moeen to CSK to eliminate any logo."
Moeen had on Thursday showered acclaim on CSK captain MS Dhoni for his capacity to remain quiet under tension and help players become better cricketers.
"I think what separates CSK from different groups is very they structure everything — from the crew they have to the manner in which they get things done. They look a quiet establishment that doesn't freeze," Ali was cited as saying by the establishment's site.
"I've addressed players who have played under MS and they disclose to me how he improves their game. I accept an incredible skipper does that.
Moeen was a year ago with Royal Challengers Bangalore yet was delivered in front of this current season's IPL. He was picked by Chennai Super Kings for Rs 7 crore at the current year's small closeout.
The Birmingham-conceived has played 19 matches and scored 309 runs at a normal of 20.6 and picked 10 wickets. He could play only three matches in last season's IPL.
Thinking back to the 2010 release, previous India off-turn bowler Yusuf Pathan had played for Rajasthan Royals against Delhi Daredevils with the logo of Kingfisher taped over.
